Blending classical precision with gothic grandeur, crushing nu-metal riffs, and modern electronic textures, Tornexia crafts a sound that is both cinematic and deeply personal.

At the center of Tornexia is Kyra Peschges, a classically trained musician whose early life was steeped in the works of Schubert, Brahms, and Mahler. From childhood recitals to conservatory halls, her voice was once bound by tradition. But Tornexia is where that discipline met defiance. With her roots in classical music and her heart drawn to darker, heavier sounds, Kyra founded the band as an outlet for emotional extremes where beauty collides with chaos.Kyra writes the core of Tornexia’s music: piano lines, soaring and guttural vocals, and brutally honest lyrics. Her performances, often beginning in stillness behind a grand piano, unravel into emotional storms mixing operatic clarity, whispered pain, and visceral screams. Her music explores betrayal, emotional ruin, and inner resurrection, making every song feel like a chapter in a larger, tragic opera.Surrounding Kyra is a group of exceptional musicians who remain intentionally in the background, her chosen shadows.Marik Veynemann, a Berlin-born drummer and sound engineer, crafts the rhythmic tension and electronic undertones that drive Tornexia’s intensity.Juno Lasker, the guitarist, provides the distorted melodies and crushing walls of sound that entwine Kyra’s piano like vines through stone.Alec Mannhart, on bass, anchors the compositions with a blend of groove and classical counterpoint, adding both weight and depth.Tornexia’s debut album, Vows of Ash, is a statement of intent: a brooding mix of symphonic metal, baroque textures, electronic glitches, and poetic fury.
